Julie Golden – Glass Artist Residency

This month we proudly partner with Cottonwood Hot Springs in hosting Boulder-based glass artist, Julie Golden. Starting today, Julie will set up shop and work from our storefront to create a large, custom window with the theme “Living Water.” You can help Julie create a “window” into our valley by stopping by to share with her special words, stories or objects. Stop by to see her finished piece on Community Dinner night.

Buena Vista Event Cooperative brings an entire afternoon of country and folk for country folks. Enjoy refreshments from our neighbors and members, Bearded Lady tacos and empanadas and Jailhouse Craft Beer Bar12-5 pm.

Sponsored by Bierstadt Lagerhaus, our neighbors will serve Colorado-made German-style beer from all 10 taps. Close out summer with German-style pizza from Crust, games, or just lounge in Watershed’s “back yard.” Jailhouse will also offer a limited number of commemorative steins. 12-10 pm

Young People’s Showcase

Multi-faceted fall gathering of like-minded trail users  (4×4, Hiking, Mtn Biking, Fishing, Trail Running) right here in Buena Vista. 14-er Fest centers on sharing information and experiences on our regional roads and trails and to raise funds and awareness for local trail coalitions and Chaffee County Search and Rescue North.
